The name Saffron was chosen for its rich golden hue, its luxurious essence, and its longstanding association with festivity and opulence. On the other hand, Mishri, or crystallized sugar, represents the heart & soul of Indian sweets.

OUR Founder
Ms. Gunjan Shrivastava, founder of Vitalpro Consumer Pvt. Ltd., is on a mission to transform Indian mithai into an art form. A graduate with a Ph.D. in Visual Arts and a Diploma in Textile Design, she brings a unique blend of creativity, academic excellence, and a deep-rooted passion for heritage to the world of sweets. Saffron & Mishri is not just a brand—it’s a revolution, reimagining the experience of traditional mithai by combining luxury, authenticity, and impeccable hygiene standards.
Born and raised in Allahabad, Ms. Gunjan noticed a significant void in today’s mithai industry—authenticity, hygiene, and transparency in sourcing were often overlooked. As people moved away from traditional sweets due to concerns about quality and cleanliness, Ms. Gunjan was determined to bring the magic of real, authentic mithai back to life.
Driven by this passion, Ms. Gunjan founded Saffron & Mishri to fill the gap for premium, authentic sweets made with complete transparency.
